Today, we’d like to talk about J-CLINIC’s physical therapy for ballet dancers in Bangkok. Classic ballet may appear graceful, but dancers often suffer injuries stemming from ballet’s hard demands on the body. Dancers must take positions that place strain on the body or move in a manner that goes beyond the body’s ‘normal’ range of movement. They need to jump off the tip of their toes while wearing toe shoes and frequently do splits that keep their hips open 180 degrees. For these reasons, the majority of ballet injuries tend to occur in the lower limbs, in the hip joints, knees, and ankles.
We will discontinue referral discounts on June 1, 2023. Referral cards must be used by May 31, 2023. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide you the highest-quality treatments and service. Kota Sato, J-CLINIC Executive Director 09/05/2023
